Wen Wen 교수의 연구실은 인간의 자율성과 통제감, 특히 행동의 주체성(의지적 통제감)이 인지적, 행동적 과정에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구합니다. 주로 작업 수행 환경에서의 행동-결과 연속성, 작업 난이도, 지각적 지연 등이 주체감에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 탐구하며, 자동운전 차량과 같은 복합 제어 환경에서 인간의 통제감 유지가 어떻게 이루어지는지에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 작업기억의 다양한 구성 요소가 공간 지식 습득과 주체감 형성에 어떻게 기여하는지에 대해서도 깊이 있는 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
