Oxide-ion conductors have found applications in various electrochemical devices, such as solid-oxide fuel cells, gas sensors, and separation membranes. Dion-Jacobson phases are known for their rich magnetic and electrical properties; however, there have been no reports on oxide-ion conduction in this family of materials. Here, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, we show the observation of fast oxygen anionic conducting behavior in CsBi2Ti2NbO10-δ. Th
Oxide-ion conductors, also known as "oxygen ion conductors," have garnered significant attention in recent years due to their extensive applications in a variety of electrochemical devices, including oxygen concentrators, solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), and solid oxide electrolysis cells. The key to improving the performance of these devices is the creation of novel oxide-ion conductors. In this feature article, we discuss the recent developments of new structural families of oxide-ion conductor
Electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) play an important role in renewable energy source technologies, typically including metal-air batteries, fuel cells and water splitting devices. Therefore, the development of bifunctional catalysts for OER and ORR is of great importance to enhance the performance of these devices. Herein, we present a Pr/Ba cation-disordered perovskite Pr2/3Ba1/3CoO3−δ, as a novel bifunctional catalyst for OER and ORR. Here
We present the first example of the Dion–Jacobson-type oxide-ion conductor without phase transitions CsLa2Ti2NbO10−δ (where δ represents the oxygen-vacancy content).
The diffusion properties of alkali ions in a series of RP antiperovskites are investigated by density functional theory, which provides a theoretical guide for enhancing the ionic conductivity of solid-state antiperovskite electrolytes.
Abstract Following the implementation of the party's economic policy of enlivening the economy within and opening to the outside world, our troops have experienced some great changes in regard to composition and have taken on new features and characteristics. From March 12 to April 10 of this year, we conducted through interviews and questionnaires a topical survey of 1,109 soldiers of a certain army group and held panel discussions with 73 cadres at the regimental, battalion, company, and plato
Cr-MnOx/cordierite composites were prepared by Sol-gel, Impregnation, Co-precipitation and Rheological phase reaction method. Various technologies including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), thermogravimetry/differential scanning calorimetry (TG/DCS), and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) were used to characterize the structure and morphology properties of the synthesized composites. The catalytic ability test of 1,2-dichlorob
The influence of structure of MnO x / TiO 2 catalysts and their catalytic oxidation of o-dichlorobenzene were examined in this study. MnO x / TiO 2 catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), TEM, X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS) and FTIR for NH 3 adsorption techniques. Experimental results indicated that the MnO x / TiO 2 catalyst prepared from manganese nitrate possessed the highest catalytic activity with a gas hourly
A kinetic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace cadmium(Ⅱ) based on its inhibitory effect on discoloring reaction of xylenol orange(XO) with peroxide hydrogen in the buffer solution of Na2B4O7-NaOH is described. The influence of the factors such as acidity, concentration of reactants, reaction time, temperature and co-existing ions on the reaction is discussed. The optimum conditions of reaction are established and some kinetic parameters are determined. The maximum absorption wavel
