이 교수의 연구실은 종양 생물학과 세포 신호전달 메커니즘을 중심으로, 특히 항암 치료 반응 예측 및 암 진행 메커니즘을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. COX-2, ILK, PTEN 등 특정 단백질과 신호 경로가 암 세포의 생존, 이동 및 전이에 미치는 영향을 분석하며, 암세포와 면역세포 간의 상호작용, 특히 퇴행세포를 통한 미세환경 조절 메커니즘을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한, 고성능 반도체 소자 제조 공정에서의 산화막 형성 기술에 대한 물리화학적 분석도 함께 수행하고 있어, 의학적 응용과 소재 공학의 융합 연구를 추구합니다.
