요시후사 스기무라 교수의 연구실은 신경내분비학과 신경염증 분야를 중심으로, 뇌하우스피탈리스와 관련된 자가면역질환, 특히 린히(lymphocytic infundibulo-neurohypophysitis, LINH)의 분자 기전과 바이오마커를 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 레이브필린-3A를 핵심 자가항체 항원으로 규명하며 진단 및 미세한 질환 구분에 기여하고 있으며, 수축성 수질저하증으로 인한 산화성 디미엘리노화증(ODS)에서 마이크로글리아의 역할과 치료적 타겟 가능성에 대해서도 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 뇌내 PTH2 수용체 경로와 항산화 피드백 메커니즘을 통해 체내 수분 조절 및 호르몬 분비 조절 기전을 탐구하고 있습니다.

These results suggest that rabphilin-3A is a major autoantigen in LINH. Autoantibodies to rabphilin-3A may serve as a biomarker for the diagnosis of LINH and be useful for the differential diagnosis in patients with CDI.
