Yoshinori Kadono 교수의 연구실은 뇌 및 척수의 신경혈관 질환, 특히 뇌졸중 후 통증, 만성 경막하출혈, 척수 동맥정맥피스터, 척수내 축농양 등 희귀 신경소견 질환의 기전과 치료를 중심으로 한 신경외과 및 신경민감학 분야의 정밀의료 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 고해상도 뇌 영상과 신경생물학적 기전 분석을 기반으로 레이저 및 전기자극을 활용한 신경조절 치료, 특히 반복적 경두개자기자극(rTMS)의 기전 규명에도 주력하고 있습니다. 특히 뇌졸중 후 신경재조직화와 뇌기능 재편성의 기전을 동물 모델로 규명하고, 이를 바탕으로 개인 맞춤형 신경재활 전략을 개발하고자 합니다.
