이 교수의 연구실은 코로나19를 비롯한 신종 바이러스의 유전체 분석과 변이 동태를 중심으로 한 감염병 유전체학 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 SARS-CoV-2의 전 세계적 분포에 따른 유전자 변이를 체계적으로 분석하여 바이러스의 진화 및 임상적 영향을 규명하고자 합니다. 또한, 세균성 패혈증 환자의 예후 평가를 위한 생물학적 마커 탐색에도 관심을 기울이고 있습니다.

A novel severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) causing COVID-19 pandemic in humans, recently emerged and has exported in more than 200 countries as a result of rapid spread.
