Youngjin Choi 교수의 연구실은 고정밀 및 고속 운동 제어 기술, 특히 외란 관측기(Disturbance Observer)와 PID 제어 기법을 중심으로 한 비선형 시스템 제어를 연구하고 있습니다. 인간형 로봇의 자세 제어 및 걷기 제어, ZMP(제로 모멘트 포인트) 기반 안정성 제어 등 보행 로봇의 전반적인 제어 전략 개발에도 기여하고 있으며, 신호 처리 분야에선 정규화된 최소 평균 제곱 알고리즘의 안정성과 수렴 속도 향상을 위한 새로운 정규화 기법을 개발했습니다. 특히, 제어 이론과 응용 분야의 융합을 통해 실용적이고 안정적인 제어 시스템 설계를 추구합니다.

The disturbance observer (DOB) has been widely utilized for high-precision and high-speed motion control applications. In this note, we suggest the robustness measure of the DOB as a criterion to design the robust DOB systems. Also, we suggest its design guidelines especially for second-order systems. Experimental results for an optical disk drive system show the validity of design guidelines.
This paper proposes the walking pattern generation method, the kinematic resolution method of center of mass (CoM) Jacobian with embedded motions, and the design method of posture/walking controller for humanoid robots. We present a novel normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm with robust regularization. Abstract The purpose of this laboratory study was to investigate the effectiveness of vermiculite extract solutions (VES) as a coagulant and of vermiculite as an adsorbent for removal of color from dye wastewater. This paper suggests an inverse optimal PID control design method to track trajectories in Lagrangian systems. The inverse optimal PID controller exists if and only if the Lagrangian system is extended disturbance input-to-state stable. First, we find the Lyapunov function and the control law that satisfy the extended disturbance input-to-state stability by using the characteristics of the Lagrangian system. The control law has a MID control form and satisfies the Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs equation.
The investigation has been carried out by treating 1 m3/day of livestock wastewater for 9 months. The biological process is composed of two reactors connected in series.
