요코야마 교수의 연구실은 간 기능 평가 및 간재생 메커니즘을 중심으로 한 간질환의 기전과 치료 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 인비트로 및 임상에서의 간기능 지표인 ICGK-F의 임상적 유용성과, 간엽성 수술 후 간기능부전 예측에 대한 연구가 두드러지며, 간재생 촉진을 위한 생리학적 기전 탐색도 지속하고 있습니다. 또한 희귀성 병변인 Obturator 퇄문의 진단 및 치료 전략에 대해서도 임상적 데이터를 바탕으로 한 분석을 진행하고 있습니다.

An ICGK-F of 0.05 is a useful cut-off value for predicting mortality and morbidity. With careful perioperative patient management in an experienced institution, this cut-off value can be lowered further.
Optimizing these factors, where possible, before PVE or PH, is essential to maximize hypertrophy of the liver. A fuller understanding of hepatic physiology and pathophysiology following PVE or PH may lead to greater functional capacity of the remaining liver and extend the indications for hepatectomy in patients who require large liver volume resection.
Obturator hernia is relatively rare and occurs mostly in elderly, thin, multiparous women.
