김찬강 교수의 연구실은 중환자 간호 및 임상 간호사의 전문적 역할 강화를 중심으로, 환자의 삶의 질 향상과 간호사의 직무 만족도 제고를 목표로 합니다. 특히 종료 치료, 영양지원 결정, 정서적 지원 등 종양학적·윤리적 고려가 필요한 임상 상황에서 간호사의 도덕적 양심과 전문성의 균형을 모색하며, 정책적 제언과 실천적 간호 개선 방안을 제시합니다. 또한 다중질환을 가진 환자와 고립된 환자에 대한 간호적 개입 전략 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다.

This study provides information necessary for further discussion of nurses' conscientious objection. Nursing leaders, researchers, and educators should appeal to nurses and involve them in making policies that balance a women's right to non-discrimination and to receiving appropriate care with nurses' rights to maintain their moral integrity without compromising their professional obligation.
This study captured the economic value of an education and counselling service provided by critical care advanced practice nurses that is not on the benefit list under the fee-for-service system of the Korean National Health System.
