Jae Hyeon Kim 교수의 연구실은 간지방증 및 간섬유화와 당뇨병, 심혈관 질환, 심부전 간의 연관성을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 비침습적 지표인 FLI와 BARD 스코어를 활용한 간질환 평가 및 갑상선호르몬 수치의 미세한 변화가 신규 발생 당뇨병 위험에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한, 임상적 응용을 위한 돼지 췌장섬세포 이식을 위한 고품질 이식재 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.
