Kyung-Min Lim 교수의 연구실은 피부 생체막과 피부 장벽 기능 향상에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 유산균 배양물 추출물과 다양한 하이드록시산이 피부 장벽에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 동물 실험 대체 모델로 활용 가능한 생체 외 포유류 피부 모델을 활용해 화장품 성분의 안전성과 효과를 평가하고 있습니다. 독성 물질이 적혈구에서 응고 활성을 유도하는 메커니즘에 대해서도 기초 생물학적 기전을 규명하고 있습니다.
