Tetsuya Honda 교수의 연구실은 면역계와 염증 반응을 조절하는 지질 매개체(예: 프로스타글란딘, 리솔빈, 레이코트리엔)의 기능을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 면역세포( dendritic cells, 비만세포 등)의 이동성과 항원 제시 메커니즘, 그리고 만성 피부염증 질환(류마티스 관절염, 아토피 피부염, 건선류 피부염 등)에서 지질 매개체가 어떻게 역할하는지에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 고유한 유전자 조절 기반의 조건부 유전자 타겟팅 기술을 활용해 면역세포 기능을 정밀하게 분석하는 데도 기여하고 있습니다.
