Editorial Lead

About the role

We are looking for an editorial lead to lead Nubint's expert review, peer review, editing and translation work. The role is to find and work with academic reviewers, peer reviewers and translators, set the quality standards and guidelines for In-depth Editing, Submission-Ready Editing and peer review, and make sure those standards are met.

What you will do

• Write guidelines and quality standards for review, peer review, editing and translation
• Select and onboard academic reviewers, peer reviewers and translators, and assess sample tasks
• Spot-check the quality of In-depth Editing, Submission-Ready Editing and peer review work and give feedback
• Decide with the product team which work AI review handles and which people handle
• Do all editing, translation and review work in Nubint's AI tools, which help you work efficiently

Who we are looking for

• Experience leading a team or freelancers in academic publishing, editing or proofreading
• A master's degree or higher in a related field (PhD preferred)
• Fluent academic English writing
• Able to put standards into writing and explain them
