About the role
Nubint Expert is a service we are preparing in which subject experts work directly on researchers' manuscripts before submission. We are looking for medical writers who can work from a researcher's results, data and drafts to write a manuscript ready for a journal. The findings and conclusions belong to the authors; the job is to put them into accurate, readable prose.
What you will do
- Write and rewrite manuscript sections such as the introduction, methods, results and discussion from the authors' results, tables and drafts
- Follow the reporting guideline that fits the study design (such as CONSORT, STROBE or PRISMA) and the target journal's author instructions
- Check that numbers in the text, tables and figures match the data, and leave comments where the authors need to confirm something
- Follow authorship and acknowledgment principles (ICMJE, GPP) and deliver within the agreed deadline
- Do all editing, translation and review work in Nubint's AI tools, which help you work efficiently
Who we are looking for
- A master's degree or higher in medicine, pharmacy, the life sciences or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience in medical writing or authoring papers in medicine or the life sciences
- Fluent academic English writing (native or near-native)
- Experience with clinical research manuscripts and reporting guidelines is a plus
