Hashidzume教授の研究室は、シクロデキストリンを核とした分子認識と自己集合を基盤に、機能性高分子やナノ構造材料の設計・開発を進めています。特に、シクロデキストリンと高分子側鎖の相互作用をモデルとして、刺激応答性系やドラッグデリバリー用ナノ粒子、スライドリングゲルなどの macroscale 機能材料の構築を目指しています。また、分子間力の選択性や集合効果を制御するための構造制御も重要な研究テーマです。

This minireview overviews rotaxanes and pseudorotaxanes containing cyclodextrins (CDs) as the rotor component.
