アキコ・タマコシ教授の研究室は、疫学的・統計的手法を用いて、生活習慣や血液成分の影響ががんや慢性疾患に与えるリスクを解明することを主眼としています。特に、長期間にわたるコhort研究であるJACC研究を通じて、日本人におけるがん予防に資する疫学的証拠を蓄積してきました。研究は、生活習慣の疫学的影響とその健康影響の長期的評価に重点を置いています。
