安正教授の研究室は、気候変動に伴う洪水リスクや森林破壊といった環境危機に直面する地域社会の対応を、地域レベルの実態に即した視点から分析しています。特に、洪水早期警戒システム(FEWS)の運用状況や、森林政策の乱用が人間の安全保障に与える影響を、現地調査とグリーンクライム理論を融合して解明しています。また、公的支援が不可欠な防災・適応政策の受容メカニズムについても、住民の意識や行動の背後にある要因を社会的・制度的視点から探求しています。
