Professor Chang Hun Huh's research lab specializes in dermatological therapeutics, with a primary focus on innovative treatment modalities for pigmentary disorders, alopecia, and benign soft tissue tumors. The lab investigates medical and procedural interventions such as iontophoresis, topical and systemic medications (e.g., finasteride, dutasteride, cyclosporine), and laser therapies to address conditions like melasma, female pattern hair loss (FPHL), and alopecia areata. A key emphasis is placed on optimizing efficacy and cosmetic outcomes through minimally invasive techniques, including tumescent liposuction for lipoma management. The research combines clinical evidence with practical application, often exploring off-label or novel uses of existing therapies.
