Daiju Narita教授の研究室は、気候変動に起因する環境問題とその経済的影響を、主に統合評価モデル(FUNDなど)を用いて定量的に分析する分野に属します。都市の大気汚染(特にバンコク地域のPM2.5と酸性雨)や、熱帯低気圧・温帯低気圧の経済的影響、海洋酸性化が養殖業に与える影響といった、気候変動の実社会的・経済的影響を、科学的データと経済モデルを統合して評価しています。特に、政策意思決定に役立つ定量的知見の提供を目的としており、気候変動適応投資の効果評価にも注力しています。
