Professor Dong Il Park's research lab specializes in gastrointestinal oncology and digestive disease, with a strong focus on non-invasive colorectal cancer screening, endoscopic management of early neoplasia, and the pathophysiology of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The qFIT provides a higher sensitivity for detecting ACRN and cancer than the GT, and has an acceptable specificity that significantly reduces the need for colonoscopic evaluation in the screened population.
CT-P13 appears to have comparable efficacy, safety, and interchangeability with its originator in the treatment of IBD. Further prospective studies with long-term follow-up periods will be needed to confirm the biosimilarity of CT-P13.
These results suggest that a diagnosis of high-grade dysplasia in forceps biopsy material should be considered an absolute indication for ESP or EMR.

Our results have demonstrated that the promoter hypermethylation for methylguanine DNA methyltransferase, human Mut L homolog-1, and vimentin in stool samples is a feasible epigenetic marker that is a sensitive, specific, and noninvasive alternative for colorectal cancer screening. This method of screening for colorectal cancer may be useful for patients that decline screening because of fear or inconvenience.
