Professor Eunhee Cho's research lab focuses on improving healthcare outcomes through nursing workforce optimization and patient-centered interventions. Her work spans nursing work environment assessment, nurse staffing strategies, and self-management programs for patients with chronic conditions such as spinal cord injury. The lab also investigates pharmacological treatments for rare endocrine disorders, such as invasive giant prolactinomas, highlighting a multidisciplinary approach to clinical care and health system improvement. Key research directions include enhancing nursing practice environments and promoting patient self-efficacy in chronic disease management.

The findings of this study demonstrate that the Korean version of PES-NWI has satisfactory construct validity and reliability to measure nursing work environments of hospitals in Korea.

This study demonstrates that healthcare providers, researchers, and policymakers should consider nursing home residents' QOL to examine the quality of care within the setting and facilitate the development of appropriate strategies to improve QOL among this population.

This study found that employment is an important factor affecting the QOL. In order to improve the QOL of the older adults, tailored programs are needed to understand the characteristics of the elderly and to create suitable jobs for them.
BPSD are clinically heterogeneous, and their occurrence can be predicted by different contributing factors. Our results for various BPSD suggest a critical window for timely intervention and care planning. Findings from this study will help devise symptom-targeted and individualized interventions to prevent and manage BPSD and facilitate personalized dementia care.
