本研究室では、卵巣がんの転移と耐性形成のメカニズムに注目し、特に腹膜播種の過程で顕れる腫瘍細胞と周囲微小環境(mesothelial細胞、免疫細胞など)のクロスティーク、および上皮間胚葉移行(EMT)やCXCR4/SDF-1軸、DPPIV(CD26)の機能ががんの進行に与える影響を分子細胞生物学的手法を用いて解明しています。特に、化学療法耐性の獲得や侵襲能の上昇に関与するシグナル伝達経路や、プラズマ治療による耐性がん細胞への効果についても実験的・臨床的アプローチを併用して研究を推進しています。
