Hiroki Hashimoto教授の研究室は、がん治療における画像診断と治療戦略の高度化を目的としており、特にPET画像を用いたがんマーカーの開発や、免疫チェックポイント阻害剤に伴う皮膚炎の病態解明に注力しています。特に、11C-PBB3を用いたアルツハイマー病関連タンパク質のイメージングや、外陰部・尿路などに発生する難治性がん(EMPD)の治療成績と最適な治療戦略の確立を目指しています。また、アジア人群における免疫関連皮膚症の組織所見の包括的解析も進め、個別化医療の実現に貢献しています。

(11)C-PBB3 was produced with sufficient radioactivity and high quality, demonstrating its clinical utility. The present results of radiosynthesis, photoisomerization, biodistribution, and metabolite analysis could be helpful for the reliable production and application of (11)C-PBB3 in diverse PET facilities.
Two distinct stress-activated protein kinase (JNKa and b) cDNAs were isolated from a carp ovary cDNA library. Boundary area tumor involvement was a major risk factor for incomplete excision, local recurrence, and poor survival outcomes. However, incomplete removal of primary tumors was not significantly associated with poor prognosis.
