Date教授の研究室は、胸郭・肺疾患、特に胸腺腫瘍や肺がんの治療戦略に関する革新的な研究を展開しています。特に、術後補助療法の有効性や低酸素状態ががんの化学感受性に与える影響、肺移植における保存技術の最適化について、臨床的・実験的アプローチを融合して研究を進めています。がんの代謝再プログラミングや予後予測マーカーの解明にも注力しており、がん治療の個別化に貢献しています。
