Professor Hoh Peter In's research lab specializes in cybersecurity, blockchain technology, and intelligent defense systems, with a focus on enhancing national security through advanced information technologies. The lab explores secure and transparent data management using distributed ledger technologies—particularly Ethereum—for critical applications such as cadastral surveys and military cloud computing. It also investigates the integration of artificial intelligence and automation in intelligence analysis and law enforcement surveillance, especially in dynamic, mobile network environments. Additionally, the lab addresses challenges in scalable and sustainable blockchain systems, including energy efficiency and transaction throughput in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
