Jingu教授の研究室は、がん治療における画像誘導放射線治療（SBRT）の最適化に注力しています。特に、結腸癌由来肺転移巣の局所制御を高めるための線量増強戦略や、再発食道がんに対する化学放射線治療の有効性を検証しています。また、治療成績の改善に向けた個別化医療の実現を目指した臨床的・生物学的アプローチを展開しています。

Our meta-analysis indicated that local control of pulmonary oligometastases from colorectal cancer by stereotactic body radiotherapy was significantly worse than that of pulmonary metastases from other cancers; however, our results also indicated that good local control of pulmonary oligometastases from colorectal cancer can be achieved by dose escalation.
Radiotherapy combined with nedaplatin and 5-FU is a safe and effective salvage treatment for postoperative loco-regional recurrent esophageal cancer. However, the prognosis of patients with multiple regional recurrence or anastomotic recurrence is very poor.
