Koichiro Oka教授の研究室は、行動科学と公衆衛生を柱として、特に健康行動の変容メカニズムや運動行動の促進に寄与する要因を解明することを目的としています。特に、トランスセラピーモデル(TTM)を用いた中高年層の運動行動の段階的変化や自己効力感の関連を分析しており、健康政策や予防医学への応用を視野に研究を展開しています。また、ペットの所有が身体活動に与える影響や、COVID-19下での勤務スタイル変化が生活習慣行動に与える影響についても、大規模なオンラインサーベイを活用した実証的研究を実施しています。

A nonpeptide opioid was found in toad skin and purified to homogeneity by using HPLC with electrochemical detection. A nonpeptide opioid also was detected in bovine brain and adrenals as well as rabbit and rat skin, by reversed-phase HPLC following Sephadex G-15 column chromatography. The material in toad skin was identical to morphine by immunological, pharmacological, and physical chemical criteria.
The dog owners had higher physical activity levels than owners of other kinds of pets and those without any pets, suggesting that dogs may play a major role in promoting physical activity. However, only 30% of the dog owners met the recommended criteria for physical activity.
