Kotaro Imamura教授の研究室は、職場におけるメンタルヘルスの予防と向上を目的とした、インターネットを活用した認知行動療法(iCBT)の開発・効果評価を主な研究テーマとしています。特に、働く人々の仕事への関与(ワークエンゲージメント)や抑うつ障害の発症予測要因の解明に注力しており、発展途上国における看護職員のストレス管理プログラムの有効性についても国際的視点で研究を展開しています。心理的安全性の尺度開発や、文化的に適応された治療プログラム(例:マンガを用いたiCBT)の開発を通じて、実践的で持続可能なメンタルヘルス支援の仕組みを模索しています。

The present study demonstrates that an iCBT program is effective in preventing MDE in the working population. However, it should be noted that MDE was measured by self-report, while the CIDI can measure the episodes more strictly following DSM-IV criteria.
