This study reveals that combination therapy consisting of alpha1-adrenoceptor antagonists with antimuscarinics represents an effective and relatively safe treatment modality in select patients with OAB coexisting with benign prostatic obstruction.
The repeat mid urethral sling for persistent or recurrent stress urinary incontinence has a lower cure rate than the initial sling. However, the retropubic approach tends to have a higher cure rate than the transobturator approach in repeat sling cases.
The tension-free vaginal tape and transobturator vaginal tape inside-out procedures were minimally invasive and similar in operation related morbidity.
