Mami Ishikuro教授の研究室では、出生・三世代コhort研究を基盤とし、特に家族構成員、とりわけ祖父母の参加を促すための意思決定支援手法の開発に注力しています。また、妊婦における血液中ヘモグロビン濃度や血圧の変動、災害後の子供の健康影響、病院内での転倒リスク要因の解明など、母子健康・公衆衛生にかかわる多様な疫学的課題を対象としています。特に、家族参加型ゲノム疫学研究の実践的実施戦略の構築が、本研究室の特色です。

Patient falls are common adverse medical events in hospitals. The objectives of this study were to clarify the factors of patient falls at hospitalization or transfer to another ward, which could be assumed that patients experience new environment. Patients who were hospitalized or transferred to another ward at a hospital in Japan, between January 14 and February 14, 2014 were included. We used a risk assessment sheet and applied stepwise regression analysis to identify factors of patient falls
Our study indicates that experiencing the disaster may have affected the health status of nursery school children at least up to 1.5 years after the disaster. Continuous monitoring of the health status of children is necessary to develop strategic plans for child health.
