細胞の物理的性質に着目したマイクロフルイディクス技術を基盤とし、がんの早期モニタリングやがん細胞の個別解析を実現する新規デバイスの開発を進めています。特に、がん細胞のサイズや変形性の違いを活用したCTC(循環がん細胞)の高感度・高純度回収技術や、単一細胞レベルでの遺伝子解析を可能にするマイクロフルイディクス・マルチプレックス技術の開発が柱です。臨床応用に向けた迅速かつ非破壊的な細胞分離・同定手法の確立が、がん治療の個別化を支える基盤となっています。
