Mehrzad Alizadeh教授の研究室では、電気化学的エネルギー変換デバイスの高性能化を目的として、反応・拡散現象を統合的に取り扱う多スケールな数値モデリングと、最適形状設計手法(トポロジー最適化)を駆使した材料構造の最適設計を推進しています。特に、多孔質電極の微細構造を制御することで、物質移動と反応速度の向上を実現し、エネルギー変換効率の向上と不可逆損失の低減を同時に目指しています。また、エントロピー生成解析を組み合わせた包括的評価フレームワークの構築も進んでいます。
