伊藤光瑠教授の研究室では、酸化物半導体における酸素同位体置換が誘発する誘電性の変化や、核反応におけるアルファ粒子散乱を用いた核構造の解明、さらに動物由来タンパク質を基盤とした生理活性ペプチドの創出を柱とした多様な物性・材料科学研究を展開しています。特に、SrTiO₃に同位体置換によって誘電的秩序が誘起される現象の世界的な初発見は、外部電場や不純物を用いずにフェロエレクトリシティを実現する画期的な成果です。また、筋肉タンパク質由来ペプチドの血圧降下作用の同定は、食料由来機能性成分の開発にも貢献する応用研究です。

Ferroelectricity was induced in $\mathrm{SrTiO}{}_{3}$ by the isotope exchange of ${}^{18}\mathrm{O}$ for ${}^{16}\mathrm{O}$. Dielectric measurements confirmed the ferroelectricity of $\mathrm{SrTi}{}^{18}\mathrm{O}{}_{3}$, showing a peak at 23 K. A hysteresis loop in the $D$ vs $E$ measurement and TO phonon observed in the Raman spectra supported the evolution of ferroelectricity in $\mathrm{SrTi}{}^{18}\mathrm{O}{}_{3}$. Inelastic scattering from ${}^{12}$C has been measured at extremely forward angles including 0 ${}^{\ensuremath{\circ}}$ using 386 MeV $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ particles to study the $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-cluster states around ${E}_{x}$ $\ensuremath{\sim}$ 10 MeV, especially the 2${}^{+}$ state predicted by the $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-cluster model. ABSTRACT: Antihypertensive activities derived from porcine skeletal muscle proteins were investigated. Thermolysin hydrolysates of porcine muscle water‐insoluble proteins demonstrated antihypertensive activities in spontaneously hypertensive rats when administrated in single oral doses.
