阿部正孝教授の研究室では、超音波を用いた生体組織の機械的特性評価に注力しており、特に血管内皮機能や筋肉・細胞レベルのViscoelasticity(粘弾性)の非挙動的評価を目的とした新規超音波測定技術の開発を進めています。高精度な血圧・血管径同時測定プローブの開発や、単一プローブによる血流誘発拡張反応の評価、細胞単位の音響特性マッピング技術の確立が主な研究テーマです。これらの技術は、動脈硬化の早期診断やがん・動脈疾患のバイオマーカー評価に応用可能です。
