Natsue Yoshimura教授の研究室では、脳-コンピュータインターフェース(BCI)を応用した補助技術の開発を柱としており、特に非侵襲的脳波(EEG)と機能的磁気共鳴共振画像(fMRI)を統合した脳活動推定手法を用いて、言語想像や運動制御の脳内メカニズムを解明しています。特に、EEG cortical currentsの推定と分類を基盤に、通信障害のある人々のためのスピーチプロセスや、下肢運動の制御を可能にするBCIの実現を目指しています。また、神経ネットワークのダイナミクスや年齢関連の運動機能低下の神経基盤についても、fMRIとEEGの統合的解析を通じて研究を展開しています。
