広瀬紀和教授の研究室は、特にアスリートの身体的特性と運動パフォーマンスの関連に注力しており、成長期のサッカー選手における発達段階や身体サイズの違いが、将来のプロ選手としての可能性にどう影響するかを解明しています。また、筋活動のEMG測定を用いた筋肉の働きの違いや、短時間で効果的な運動再開法の検証など、実践的で臨床的応用価値の高い研究が特徴です。特に筋力・筋機能の評価と怪我予防への応用が目立っています。
