Imamura教授の研究室は、腎臓移植に伴う虚血再灌流障害に注目し、細胞死の制御や酸化的損傷の軽減を目的とした新規治療戦略の開発を進めています。特にp53の一時的阻害や、カルバミル化エリスロポエチン(CEPO)、水素放出ナノシリコンといった新規分子・ナノ材料の応用を柱としています。腎機能の保護と移植後の長期予後改善を目的とした翻訳的研究を実施しており、臨床応用に向けた基盤を強化しています。
