Professor Sang-Uk Han's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research and advanced construction technologies. The lab investigates metabolic reprogramming in gastric cancer through metabolomic profiling, exploring organic acids and growth factors like HGF as biomarkers for cancer progression and prognosis. Concurrently, the lab develops innovative augmented reality and computer vision solutions for improving precision in construction manufacturing and facility management by enabling accurate as-built vs. as-planned model registration. These interdisciplinary efforts bridge clinical oncology with digital construction technologies.
