Satoshi Yasuda教授の研究室は、心房細動や虚血性心疾患を有する患者を対象とした抗血栓療法の最適化を目的としており、特にリバキサバン単剤療法の有効性と安全性を大規模臨床試験で検証しています。また、日本全国の病院データを活用した大規模リアルワールド研究を通じて、心不全や心血管疾患の治療実態を解明し、高齢化社会における医療の質の向上に貢献しています。

As antithrombotic therapy, rivaroxaban monotherapy was noninferior to combination therapy for efficacy and superior for safety in patients with atrial fibrillation and stable coronary artery disease. A nationwide administrative database of patients with cardiovascular diseases (JROAD-DPC) provided useful information that will contribute to improved quality of medical care, especially in the aging society of Japan, where HF has become an important health problem. (Circ J 2016; 80: 2327-2335).
