Seitaro Nomura教授の研究室は、心血管疾患の発症メカニズムを単細胞レベルのゲノム解析によって解明することを目的としています。特に、心筋細胞のリモデリングやがん微小環境におけるシグナル伝達機構に注目し、単細胞RNAシーケンシングやエピジェネティクス解析を応用して、心不全やがんの進行における細胞内プログラムの転換を解明しています。また、老化関連因子や成長因子の標的療法の開発にも取り組んでいます。
