Shinji Itoh 교수의 연구실은 간세포암(hepatocellular carcinoma, HCC)의 진행 메커니즘과 치료적 타겟을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 FAK, PD-L1, LMR, Nrf2/Nqo1 등 종양 미세환경과 산화 스트레스 반응을 중심으로 암 진행과 예후에 영향을 미치는 분자 기반 생물학적 마커를 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 이식 전 체성분 분석을 통한 예후 예측 모델 개발 등 임상적 적용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다.

These data suggest that FAK plays an important role in promoting tumor progression, especially vascular invasion, in HCC. FAK could play an important role in HCC progression and would be a novel target for HCC therapeutics as well as a prognostic marker.
PD-L1 expression in cancer cells was associated with a poor clinical outcome and vascular formation in patients with HCC. Additionally, the combination of PD-L1 expression with tumor-infiltrating CD8-positive T-cell status enabled further classification of patients based on their clinical outcome. Thus, PD-L1 expression in cancer cells and tumor-infiltrating CD8-positive T-cell status might serve as predictive tissue biomarkers.
Abstract Evidence is reviewed to assign the role of cholecystokinins in the cognitive and memory processes. Rat brain contains about 550 ng of CCK‐8. When injected, icv or sc, in doses of less than 100 ng of CCK or caerulein, these peptides prevent experimental amnesia and prolong extinction of the already‐learned tasks.
