Shuo Cheng教授の研究室は、環境中のマイクロプラスチックやナノプラスチックの生態的影響を解明することを主眼としています。特に、実環境に近い条件下での微生物への影響を、単一種とマイクロコスム実験を組み合わせて評価しています。また、伝統的有用植物由来の抗酸化物質の機能解明にも取り組んでおり、環境と健康の両面からのリスク評価をめざしています。
