Tadashi Matsuda教授の研究室は、成長因子・サイトコイ닌のシグナル伝達とホルモンのクロストークメカニズムに注目し、特にTGF-β、IL-6、エストロゲン受容体の相互作用が再生・炎症・がんに与える影響を分子レベルで解明しています。特に、STAT3やSmad7、PDLIM2といったシグナル分子を標的にした制御機構の解明が進んでいます。炎症性疾患やがんの病態メカニズムの解明と、それらを標的にした新規治療戦略の開発を目指しています。
