Takanori Teshima 교수의 연구실은 이뮤노이솔레이션 및 이뮤노모odulation을 중심으로 한 이식면역학과 암의 면역조절 메커니즘을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 간이성면역반응을 억제하면서도 암세포에 대한 방어 기능을 유지하는 IL-11의 역할을 밝혀내는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 이는 이식 후 합병증 예방과 함께 암의 면역치료 전략 개발에 기여합니다. 또한 성인T세포 림프종 등 혈액계 암에서 뇌신경계 침윤의 기전과 임상적 특성에 대해서도 깊이 있는 분석을 수행하고 있습니다.

We recently showed that IL-11 prevents lethal graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in a murine bone marrow transplantation (BMT) model of GVHD directed against MHC and minor antigens. Central nervous system (CNS) involvement was reviewed in 99 patients with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL). Fifteen episodes of CNS involvement developed in ten of 99 patients (10.1%); nine had leptomeningeal involvement, whereas two developed intracerebral invasion, one developed cord involvement, and one developed both.
