大和大学の小澤武章教授の研究室は、タンパク質間相互作用のリアルタイム可視化を可能にする新規バイオセンシング技術の開発を柱としています。主に、タンパク質スプライシング(inteinを用いた自己切断・結合反応)と分裂型蛍光タンパク質を組み合わせた「スプライシング駆動型補完系」を用い、生きた哺乳類細胞内でのタンパク質相互作用や細胞小器官へのタンパク質輸送を非破壊的に可視化する技術を開発しています。特に、エンドプラズミックリトゥーリクムへの輸送や、酸化的なストレス応答における生物時計の再設定メカニズムの解明にも応用しています。
