Bamba教授の研究室では、質量分析を用いた脂質体（リピドーム）解析の高度化をめざし、特に超臨界流体クロマトグラフィーとトリプル・クadrアップル質量分析計を組み合わせた新規分析法の開発を行っています。脂質の包括的で定量的な解析を可能にするためのMRMライブラリの理論的構築や、疾患バイオマーカーの同定にも応用しています。この研究は、代謝疾患や神経変性疾患のメタボリック・プロファイル解明に貢献しています。

Lipidomics, the mass spectrometry-based comprehensive analysis of lipids, has attracted attention as an analytical approach to provide novel insight into lipid metabolism and to search for biomarkers.
