Takeshi Onoue教授の研究室は、医療と情報通信技術(ICT)の融合を柱として、特にウェアラブルデバイスやIoTを活用した慢性疾患、特に2型糖尿病の管理に関する研究を推進しています。患者の生活習慣データを継続的かつ自動的にモニタリングすることで、個別化された健康指導の効果を科学的に評価する研究が中心です。また、心血管イベントの予測や薬剤の代謝的影響についても、臨床的・疫学的アプローチを用いた多施設共同研究を実施しています。
