Aoyama教授の研究室では、慢性腰痛が看護師の業務パフォーマンスに与える影響を時間管理や人間関係、生産性の観点から解明しており、特に慢性腰痛と抑うつ症状の関連性に注目しています。また、軟骨特異的遺伝子の発現制御機構を解明するため、転写因子Sp3とDNAメチル化の役割に焦点を当てた分子機構の研究も実施しています。これらの研究を通じて、疾患予防や再生医療への応用が期待される基盤を構築しています。

It became obvious that Chronic LBP in nurses was significantly related to time management, mental-interpersonal relationship, and output. The importance of preventing a decline in work productivity by taking precautions to prevent chronic LBP and depression was suggested.
Elucidating the regulatory mechanism for tissue-specific gene expression is key to understanding the differentiation process.
