Yihong Zhang教授の研究室は、医療・生物学的応用を志向した生体分子の制御メカニズム解明と、画像・センサー技術を活用した知能型環境認識システムの開発を柱としています。特に、マクロファージのサイトコイントン応答や結核菌由来分子の炎症誘導機構を分子レベルで解明しており、同時にUAVや画像認識技術を応用した都市部の多様性に基づくルート提案や、悪天候下における赤外線オブジェクト検出のための軽量AIモデル開発も進めています。これらの研究は、医療・交通・環境のスマート化に貢献する、マルチモーダルで実用指向の研究が特徴です。
