연구실 소개
구보경 교수의 연구실은 간질환, 특히 비알코올성간지방증(NAFLD)과 그 합병증에 대한 기전과 생물학적 마커를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 인슐린 저항성과 관련된 대사 이상, 유전적 소인, 근육량 저하 등이 NAFLD의 진행에 미치는 영향을 규명하며, 고위험군의 조기 진단과 예방 전략 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 특히 GDF15, PNPLA3, TM6SF2 등의 생물학적 마커와 유전적 변이가 간섬유화 및 대사성질환과 어떻게 연관되는지 깊이 있는 분석을 수행하고 있습니다.

Sarcopenia is a syndrome characterized by loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength that can increase the risk of physical disability, chronic conditions such as diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases, and long-term mortality. Sarcopenia adversely affects not only the elderly population, but also young adults. This review provides updated definitions of sarcopenia and recommendations for the assessment of muscle quantity and quality.
This study focused on the characterization of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) from the chorion of human full term placenta from 15 donors. Chorionic MSCs revealed homologous fibroblast-like morphology and expressed CD73, CD29, CD105, and CD90.
